Abstract:
This paper presents a theoretical model for thegeneration of terahertz radiation by cosh-Gaussian laserbeams of high intensity, which are capable of creatingrelativistic–ponderomotive nonlinearity. We find the componentsof the terahertz radiation for the relativistic laserplasma interaction, i.e. beating of the two lasers of sameamplitude and different frequency in under dense plasma.We plot the electric field profile of the emitted radiationunder the effect of lasers index. By creating a dip in peak ofthe incident lasers’ fields, we can achieve multifocal terahertzradiation.
