Polynomial-form fuzzy numbers and application in fuzzy optimization

In this paper, we consider a special class of fuzzy numbers, called polynomial-form fuzzy numbers. Some properties of members of them are presented. We next consider linear programming problem with polynomial-form fuzzy variables and we present a method to solve the problem by using a linear ranking function
