Abstract:

In this paper, we apply hybrid cuckoo optimization algorithm and Hill Climbing local search methods on some multimodal test functions. The Cuckoo optimization algorithm is a promising metaheuristic population based method and has attracted increasing attention in recent years. We are going to investigate the capability of the hybridization of this algorithm and Hill Climbing local search method for solving some multimodal test functions. Experimental results show that the hybridization gives more accurate solutions than the Cuckoo Optimization Algorithm
