خلاصه مقاله:
A two dimensional model of the Human Ventricular System (HVS) is used to investigate the flow of CSF within the human brain, considering fluid-structure interactions. The geometry derived from magnetic resonance imaging scans. It is shown that fluid-structure interactions have a significant effect on flow characteristics of CSF circulation. The findings demonstrate that by combining MRI scans and CFD simulations, detailed quantitative information of the flow field in the HVS and the aqueduct of Sylvius can be obtained.
