Coating metal foils by alumina and other similar oxides is important in manufacturing of micro and monolithic reactors. In this work, FeCrAl foils were coated by alumina through different sol-gel methods. Washcoating solutions were prepared by Organic and inorganic precursors. Different techniques like XRD, BET, TGA, and SEM were used for characterization. Ultrasonic tests showed good adhesion of washcoat layer. BET results showed that these methods have different surface area which are higher than suspension method.
