Abstract:

Availability is an important feature of a mobile payment system in the bankingindustry. It should be also capable of providing services to the users throughout theweek without interruption. In general, a payment system in mobile commerce shouldhave high reliability and availability to enable users and stakeholders to do businesstransactions, buying and selling and pay for financial transactions with a high degreeof reliability. Since an architecture or a payment model in e-commerce only displaysthe way of interaction and collaboration between users and mortgagors and providesno assessment of the performance, reliability and availability of the system to thestakeholders, thus, in this study, we managed to provide an accurate assessment of theavailability of a mobile payment model at the software architecture level by employinga colored petri dish using the official models. The methodology is as follows:First, we converted the studied model into an integrated modeling language (UML).However, the semi-official nature of this language has made it unable to assess all nonobligatoryneeds. To achieve this goal, an applicable model must be created from thesegraphs. Finally, by converting the applicable model into the official language and usingthe Petri Net networks and CPN Tools tool, an accurate assessment of the availabilitylevel would be provided.
