A Practical Examination of a Novel Statistical Approach for Anticipating Musicians’ Performance

Great musicians have always provided many recommendations to control and facilitate confronting the difficultconditions of important performances. These recommendations can be a subgroup of self-management and using stressmanagement and etc. to manage uncontrollable emotions during the performance. There are a lot of techniques thatmusicians usually use to overcome the severity of stressful moments during their performance, but the lack of anefficient strategy to overcome the negative results of emotions or stress still exists. So the relation between the life cycleand performance of the musicians is to be revealed. In this paper by a more extensive review of this matter andintroduction of significant biorhythms and also evaluation of the relation between the performance quality and thebiorhythm, the relation has been studied. A Discriminant Analysis (DFA) has been used to evaluate this relation.Similar studies to measure the relation between the performance quality in music and biorhythm have not beenconducted yet. But many researchers have performed studies to measure relation between biorhythms and some otherevents such as accidents and etc. The results of which have been categorized into two groups. Some have refused therelation between the events and biorhythm and the others have accepted it and interpreted it meaningful. This studybelongs to the second group.
