Abstract:

The earthquake in Iran has led us to focus on the supply and distribution of food in emergency situation of natural disaster in this study. What is remarkable in the emergency situation is which types of foods, which types of survivors and in what way. An important issue in nutrition studies and nutrition is in addition to nutrition, food supply and distribution, and the selection of foods is needed in emergencies. To distribute food in emergency situations, there are three general categories: 1-Distribution between the survivors by the Trustee: In this type of distribution, the goods are presented in bulk to the trustee representative and then he divides the goods between the groups. This model will be distributed during the first week of the crisis. 2- The distribution between a group of family supervisors: In this type of distribution, the goods will be provided by a representative of the family supervisors, and then immediate redistribution will take place between supervisors. This model takes place during the second to third week of crisis when people are deployed at a general campus and distributed ration cards. 3-Distribution to each family of supervisors: This method of distribution is carried out in a situation where people have settled in separate camps and the goods are directly provided to the family supervisor. Food needs of various consumer groups in crisis situations include four categories: 1- effected group (children, adolescents, adults, and elderly): Dairy products, Milk powder, Cheese, Biscuit , Bread, Canned Food, 2- Vulnerable Group (Children, elderly disability and pregnant women,): Dairy products, Milk powder, Biscuit, Cheese, Bread, Canned Products, 3- Healthy and Active Group (Adolescents, Youth and Adults): All existing food groups; 4- Patients: Dietary Prepared and cooked in the scene. Considering that in this study nutritional needs of different consumer groups and optimal distribution methods have been investigated, and according to the results, the vulnerable group of survivors is prioritized for supplying food needs. Therefore, it is suggested that the crisis management team of this effected group is prioritized to relief.
