OHSAS 18002:2000; LATEST REGARDING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS, MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, AND THE APPLICATION IN THE ASPHALT AND COALTAR INDUSTRY

Much has said and published about the OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standard, management system, but lacks important items e.g. intent , typical inputs, processes , typical outputs, etc. In this regard OHSAS 18002, 2000 has been developed which explains the underlying principles of OHSAS 18001: 1999 and describes the intent, typical inputs, process , typical outputs against each requirement of OHSAS 18001. this is to aid undersanding and implementation of OHSAS 18001. Because of the important of the subject it is necessary that Asphalt and Coaltar industries be informed about OHSAS 18002:2000 so that a complete understanding of and implementation of OHSAS 18001: 2000 be provided.
