Abstract:

Introduction and objectives:HCV, HBV, and HIV infection are common, especially during recent years. Co-infection between these three different diseases prove same ways of transmission. HIV infection has worldwide distribution especially in developing countries like the continent of Asia countries. HIV Ab and HCV ab are not done as a pre marriage test in Iran but in the pregnant women these tests has been accomplished .In consequence of transmitting as a STD diseases, it is possible that the pregnant women are affected with their husbands infections. Also HBV infection is a serious health problem with 2 billion infected worldwide and about 1 million deaths per year caused by chronic hepatitis, liver cancer, and cirrhosis. Evaluation of these diseases by serologic methods can plan an important role to provide sufficient prevention programs.Materials and Methods In a cross sectional study, sera of 280 people were collected and HCV Ab, HBsAg and HIV Ab were calculated by ECL method. Also, age , residency region and history of previous disease, were studied. The history of probable causes of infection were investigated. All positive cases were tested again with other methods and for HBV positive people, some complementary tests namely HBeAb, HBeAg and Anti HBc Ab were done. Then, the results were analyzed by spss analytic method. Results: 3 women had HBsAg positive (1.46%).1 woman was HCV Ab positive (0.048 %,) .HIV Ab were negative for all cases. The maximum rate were seen at 25-29 age group (HBsAg: 3 or 100%, HCV Ab: 1 or 100%). All positive people were living in rural areas (p<0.05) and their educational rate were high school graduated (p> 0.05). Conclusion: Findings had well corresponded with the previous studies in same areas of Iran. None of people remarked history of previous diseases or using intravenous drugs. As a result of HBeAb, HBeAg and Anti HBc Ab values, the positive HBV cases had past HBV infections. It is suggested that all people achieve these tests before marriage and also in pregnancy time forprevention of infections in the future for their children.
