Abstract:

Crop residues management is one of the main pillars of the sustainability of crop ecosystems. In this research, the effect of plant residue management in comparison with monoculture and crop rotation on heavy soil elements including iron, zinc and manganese were investigated. For this purpose, an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with four replications. The results of statistical analysis showed that the effect of agronomic management on soil nutrient elements was significant at 0.01 level. The highest amount of these elements was observed in the management of debris. The values of these traits in the crop rotation system were lower than the crop management method of the plant remains and more than the monoculture management method
