Abstract:

Food industry is one of the most important parts of industry in all countries that is related to food security. The food industry of Iran is considered as a new industry that according to climate conditions in our country has great importance. Also providing food security of society is an important option that should be considered. It is also important to pay attention to the proper processing of food products which has attracted the attention of specialists in this field. Nanotechnology is one of the new technologies that can make a huge difference in the food industry because both of them can have a same direct. So, in this review article we will talk about Nano technology, nanoparticles, nanocomposites and their usage in food preserving and packaging.
