Abstract:
Skin Malignancy, such as Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Melanoma, is rare in childhood. Certain inherited disorders like Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Basal Cell Nevus Syndrome, Dysplastic Nevus Syndrome and Sebaceous Nevus, predispose to development of primary skin malignancies. Skin cancer is more common in fair- skinned people, especially those with blond or red hair, who have light- colored eyes. Finding suspicious moles or skin cancer early in childhood, is the key to treat skin cancer successfully.
