Application of Lasers in Oral soft tissue surgery

There are many categories of soft tissue procedures that can be treated by lasers, such as gingivectomy, frenectomy, depigmentation, second stage exposure of dental implants, sub-gingival debridement curettage, incisional and excisional biopsies of both benign and malignant lesions, removal of granulation tissue, coagulation of free gingival graft donor site, irradiation of apthous ulcers, removal of diseased tissue around the implants etc.
