Abstract:
Manganese-Cobalt coatings are promising candidates for SOFC interconnect applications because of their high conductivity and good oxidation resistance. In the present study, manganese andcobalt were electrodeposited on Crofer 22 APU ferritic stainless steel. The effect of deposition time on the microstructure and cathodic efficiency was investigated. Results showed that the increase of deposition time caused to the decrease of current efficiency.
