خلاصه مقاله:
Grout is a kind of the cement composite that is used in many structures. High amount of consumed cement in the grout, can be caused to higher hydration and finally more cracks. In addition to these, cement is the most expensive part of the grout. So the materials that have ability to exhibit cementation behavior can be used instead of a few parts of the cement, but this should not affect the compression strength remarkably. The natural pozzolan is the one of the material which can be used in the grout structure. In this paper, the calcined diatomite as a natural pozzolan is added to two types of the grout in 0, 5, 15 and 20 percent. The specimens after forming are cured in the laboratory condition and common temperature in the water bath. they are broken at the 28 days old, the results are recorded and the related curvature will be drawn. The results indicated that with increasing the replaced diatomite, the compression strength of two types grout will be reduced. In the both grouts, with 15 percent replaced diatomite, although the compression strength will be decreased, but this decrement is justified from the economic and durability viewpoints.
