Abstract:
Solar cells based on halide perovskite have demonstrated unprecedented high power conversion efficiencies in recent years. However the well-known toxicity of lead (Pb) which is used in the most studied cells may affect it’s wide spread use. In this research, synthesis of an inorganic lead-free perovskite option (CsGeBr3) study in various growth temperature including 90, 120 and 150 oC. Crystalline structures, morphology and elemental percentages are studied using X-Ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Results show that the synthesis temperature has a significant effect on the formation of CsGeBr3 structure.
