خلاصه مقاله:
Many of the key components of smart grid have DC nature. Power electronic converters are efficient tools for harvesting energy from/providing energy for the DC-type sources/loads. Integration of renewable energy resources (RERs) and DC loads with the current power network is available using numerous converter interfaces. Solid- state transformer (SST) is introduced in this paper as the suitable substitute for conventional distribution transformer that has the capability of integrating RERs and DC loads with no extra power electronic conversion stages. Simulation results are provided to validate the proposed study.
