خلاصه مقاله:
Background: Escherichia coli is the major causative pathogen of urinary tract infection (UTI) in human. Virulence factors and drug resistance play important roles in thepathogenesis of E. coli infections. The aim of this study is Consideration of relation between Uropathogenic E.coli produce hemolysis with multi-drug resistance (MDRs)Methods: In this study 164E.coliisolated from Urinary tract, confirmed with biochemical test. Then cultured on Blood Agar, and determined Hemolysis on this medium.Antibiogram with Kirby-Bauer method based on CLSI standards were done with different antibiotics. Then, results were studied and analysed in the program was SPSS18 Results: 24.4% E.coli had Hemolysis. 65.6% were motile. We studied on 10 classes of antibiotics(18 antibiotics).the most resistance belonged to Clindamycin(100%) and the most sensitivity belonged to Carbapenem and then, Nitrofurantoin(90%). 60% were MDRs(P=0.01). 34.8% were hospitalized. 24.6% of them had hemolysis.Ininpatients, the highest resistance, were 35.7% to > 7 antibiotics,. And the lowest 7.1 % to 3-4 antibiotics (P=0.09). Conclusion: In this study, 34.8% of E.coli, isolated from inpatient. The most strain were resistance to > 7 classes of antibiotics (35.7%).
