Abstract:
NiCo2O4 nanoflower-loaded electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (ERGO) composite (NiCo2O4/ERGO) was prepared by a facile electrochemical method. The structure and morphology of the composite were studied by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) and fourier transformer infrared FTIR)(. NiCo 2O4 nanoflowers with an average size of petals less than 30 werenm uniformly and densely dispersed on the graphene sheets. Galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) measurements on NiCo2O 4/ERGO indicated a high specific capacitance of 2498F/g at a current density of 1 A/g and only 6% loss of the initial specific capacitance after4000 charge/discharge cycles at 20 A/g in 1 M KOH electrolyte, which was worthy for practical application in supercapacitors
