Green Supplier Selection Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) or Gray Relational Analysis (GRA) Methods: A Case Study of Abadan Oil Refining Company

Nowadays, green management, with an emphasis on maintaining and protecting the environment, has become an important issue for customers, stakeholders, governments, employees, competitors and partners.One of the most significant environmental protection factors is the green supply chain in different industries, and one of the important factors in creating a green supply chain is the choice of green suppliers. The purpose of this research is to provide a practical approach for selecting the green suppliers of Abadan Oil Refining Company. In this study, criteria and sub-criteria for selecting green suppliers were extracted using the literature review and then the green suppliers in Abadan Oil Refining Company were prioritized applying the combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process Analysis (AHP) and Gray Relationship Analysis (GRA) methods. At the end, provider No. 8 with a score of 0.6 was selected as the green provider according to the defined criteria
