Abstract:
simple and rapid analytical method development for Tert -butylhydroquinone (TBHQ)determination in food samples by using different voltametric techniques such as cyclic voltametry (CV), chorono Amprometry (CA), differencial pulse voltametry (DPV) on ZnO/CNTs nanocomposite ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode. For this, several parameters, such as ZnO/CNTs nanocomposite, ionic liquid ratio, and pH, scan rate, diffiusion index and the others have been studied. The cyclic voltammogram showed an irreversible oxidation peak at 0.2 V (vs.Ag/AgClsat), which corresponded to the oxidation of TBHQ.Compared to common carbon paste electrode, the electrochemical response was greatly improved. Under the optimizedconditions, the oxidation peak current of TBHQ showed linear dynamic range 0.09–750 μmol l−1 with a detectionlimit of 0.05 μmol l−1, using the differencial pulse voltamrty method. The proposed sensor was successfully applied to the determination of TBHQ in oil and oil samples with previous preparation and was compared with a published electrochemical method, finally statistic analysis confirm the high sensivity and good selectivity of sensor.
