Abstract:

These days, cities are facing different problems which are growing day by day due to growth of migration to cities and high density of people in there. One the important problems of cities are environmental pollutions which endanger their sustainability in long term. Cities’ air pollution and lack of suitable air corridors in big cities which is the result of high building construction and intensifies its pollution has created a situation in cities which is called heat islands. This phenomenon has affected city air and intensified its pollution. In the beginning of this article we have tries to identify these islands using GIS software and in second level using this software and suitable plant cover we have suggested some solutions to solve the island problem. One the main concerns of experts and urban designers is the discussion of environmental sustainability and improving urban environment and these concerns are more noticeable in big cities due to complexities in spaces and functions. Therefore, data analysis and realizing a map of city space climate is necessary to be used in urban planning, architectural design and making decisions on environment of cities. From the other hand creating green spaces as a solution to solve environmental problems is important after analyzing data and preparing climatic map. As a geographical analyzer GIA can help designers to prepare climatic maps of cities and determine plant cover, its kind and extent. We have tried to scientifically conduct our research and examine this process by defining feature and informational layers and by preparation method and manipulation of GIS.
