Abstract:

own ethers are an important as class of hetromocrocycles in view of synthesis and complexation propert or various cations and anions as well as ionic and neutral molecules [1.aza crown compounds have gained eat deal of attention due to their wide application in chemistry and due to their high capability in select i nd effective complexation with variety of transition and heavy metal, molecular ions, and neutral molecul nd there is an increasing interest in prepration of them[2]. These macrocycles have been shown to exhi m portant applications including selective ion separation and detection. These properties make crown ethe eful in many field such as medical, biology, bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis and extraction of metal ions om solution[3]. In this research work, we want, to prepare a new macrocycle as crown compounds, action of tri methylene diamin with [(4-methyle)-(o-methyle-oxiran) phenyl] 2, 2’ sulfoxide, which ha en functionalized with OH group in their rings. For this purpose, bis [(4- methyl) phenol] 2, 2 -sulfox epared, then it was reacted with allyl chlorid and para chloro per benzoic acid for preparing of bis [(o-met iran) p-cresyl] 2, 2́- sulfoxid. After that, tri methylene diamine was reacted with bis [(o-methyl oxiran) p-cresyl sulfoxid and its produce became [1,13-dioxa-5,9-diaza-dibenzo] sulfoxo (18-C -5)under region m pugnation. The structures of these new macrocycles have proved by spectral date in cluding IR, 1H NM nd 13CNMR.
