Introducing Roholamin Isfahani and his works with emphasis on Textual Criticism of Shirin & Khosro manuscript

Roholamin Shahrestani Isfahani is one of poets of Indian Qutb Shahian court. In addition to his unpublished works, introduction and study of manuscripts of his epopees make their comparison to other poems possible. After introducing the poet, the researcher tries to determine place of Roholamin Isfahani in poetry and Masnavi using content analysis method. Because as Nezami’s Khamseh is inspired by many poets, Roholamin Isfahani has attracted to it as well. This study showed that there are considerable narrative verbal content similarities between works of Nezami and Isfahani specially Khosro & Shirin and Shirin & Khosro and their differences are expressive and chimerical. Roholamin Isfahani has been one of the most famous story tellers in Iranian culture with a simple and meaningful language and he has usedartistically imagery in his amorous epopee. Although Shirin & Khosro cannot compete with Nezami’s Khosro & Shirin , it has been more successful than some works of Nezami
