Abstract:

recently, Distributed Generations and Distribution Static Compensator penetration in distributed networks areincreased due to advantages. The as devices location and capacity determination are more importance for achievingthe maximum benefit of voltage control and reactive management process in distribution systems. For this optimizationproblem objective function is defined bus voltage deviation and constraints are known as optimal power flow equations.Grey Wolf Optimizer as a new algorithm is proposed for optimization problem solution method. For proposed methodeffectiveness evaluation, simulation studies have been applied on 33-bus IEEE standard test system. In cases studiesload variation form 50% to 150% have been considered until system operator can be able to control the system voltageprofile by correct placement of DGs and D-STATCOM at each 5% of load variation.
