RSA Cryptosystem as a One-Way Trapdoor Function and its Security

RSA encryption is a public-key encryption which is based on the hardness of factoring very large numbers. The RSA encryption algorithm uses prime factorization as the trapdoor for encryption. In this short note we describe a simplified version of RSA algorithm and review the attacks on it
