Fuzzy Flexible Measures in DEA

Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA), measures are classified as either input or output. However, in some real cases, there are variables which act as both input and output and are known as flexible measures. The current study proposes a fuzzy flexible measure directional distance model for the problems in which flexible measures are imprecise values and corresponding to each of the flexible measures; a binary number is considered to classify it. The presented model can be used for issues in which flexible measures are qualitative values such as customer satisfaction, the effect of the brand on the efficiency.
