Abstract:

This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of dietary protein levels on growth performance and nutrition of Caspian Roach (Rutilus lacustris) fingerling. Four experimental diets were formulated to contain of energy levels of 3500, 4000, 4500 and 5000 kcal/kg and %45 protein level. Triplicate groups of Roach with average weight, 5.30gr were stocked in 100L fiberglass tanks (15 fish/tank) and were fed based on 3% of their biomass for 57 days. The results showed that growth and nutrition indexs include weight gain (WG%), specific growth rate (SGR), condition factor (CF), survival (SR%) food conversion ratio (FCR), protein efficiency ratio (PER) were not affected by dietary energy levels (P<0.05).
