Ultrasonic Volume Meter and Material Detector

A volume meter and material detector is presented which utilizes ultrasonic sensors for measurements using two sensors and averaging measured results of 400 times. The material is detected successfully among paper, metal, and plastic. The volume calculation test of the device are shown to have a maximum error of less than 2.13%. Controlling the procedure and calculations are done by programming of Arduino Mega processor.
