A fault tolerant system is a kind of system which it can repair itself when a software or hardware error happens. As a matter of fact, in a fault tolerant system if an error happens in the system it enables system to repair itself and continue its job properly without any interruption. In order to prevent probable errors which lead to system failure and produce incorrect output, an idea should be considered to make sure that the fault tolerant system is able to detect and mask the faults immediately in order to prevent failure happening when the system is running. In this paper, we tried to design a new model in order to improve fault tolerant feature using redundancy method. In special case, we investigated the method on Hybrid Vehicles. We showed that we can improve this feature remarkably using the redundancy method through simulating the model in MATLAB Simulink environment.
