Iran is a water-stressed country where water availability is an important constraint to economic and social development. It will become even more critical issue in the future if this scarce resource is not managed effectively. In order to manage the supply of water, we need to determine the value of water. This study focuses on the value of water used in the agricultural sector, in particular the marginal revenue of water in sugar beat production in three provinces (North Khorasan, Khorasan Razavi and South Khorasan). A quadratic revenue function was estimated by using data for year 2007. The results indicated that marginal revenue of water in sugar beet production in North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan and South Khorasan were 52.85, 53.43 and 50.43 Rlsm-1 , respectively.
