Abstract:

با توجه به نقش مهم مدیران در موفقیت شرکت ها، هدف اصلی این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر توانایی مدیران بر خطر ورشکستگی شرکت های ایرانی و نقش میانجی گر عملکرد مالی در این رابطه است. در این راستا، اطلاعات 103 شرکت غیرمالی پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران در بازه زمانی 1394-1383 بررسی شده است. توانایی مدیران با استفاده از الگوی دمرجیان و همکاران (2012) اندازه گیری شده است. همچنین، نرخ بازده دارایی ها به عنوان معیار عملکرد مالی به کار رفته است و الگوی امتیازدهی بازار نوظهور (امتیاز Z آلتمن) به منظور سنجش خطر ورشکستگی مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش نشان داد که بین توانایی مدیران و خطر ورشکستگی شرکت ها، رابطه ای منفی وجود دارد و عملکرد مالی نقش متغیر میانجی کامل در رابطه بین توانایی مدیران و خطر ورشکستگی بازی می کند. به بیان دیگر، توانایی مدیران از طریق بهبود عملکرد مالی شرکت ها، خطر ورشکستگی آنها را کاهش می دهد. از این رو چنین نتیجه گیری شد که توانایی مدیران عامل مهمی در موفقیت شرکت های پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران است.
