Abstract:
The main and controlling components of the target helicopter autopilot system include sensors, controllers, amplifiers, and drivers of the mechanical system. This system operates under two modes of SCAS and ATTD. The Synchronizer is considered as the most central controller part of the subsystems. As a set of precise electromechanical components, this part has various outputs in its function modes. The author of the present study has tried to first identify its functioning algorithm and then, to redesign it as a digital electronic system and to implement its behavioral algorithm in the system. By the help of the microcontroller, this system receives the control data set by the pilot and puts the overall system in either of the two functioning modes. After laboratory simulations, the work has been tested on a platform related to operational forms.
