Abstract:

In this study, for the first time, the catalytic performance of the Ni/SiO2 catalysts with different temperatures calcination (550,600,650,700 oC) was studied in steam reforming of propane for the production of synthesis gas. The results showed that the Ni/SiO2 catalyst calcined at 550 oC has the best C3H8 conversion and H2 yield from other catalysts. GHSV, S/C and temperature reaction test on Ni/SiO2-550 catalyst showed that the feed ratio (S/C), GHSV and temperature reaction affected the catalytic activity
