Effect of feeding Salvia leriifolia (NOWROOZAK) leaf Powder on Growth Performance of broiler chicks

The present experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of adding graded levels (0, 0.3, 0.45 and 066: ) of nowroozak (Salvia leriifolia) to the basal experimental diet on the broiler chicks growth performance. Two hundred and fourty unsexed Ross broiler chicks were randomly distributed; 60 birds/dietary treatment and each treatment contained 6 replicates (10 birds/replicate) . The results showed significant (p<0605) improvement in feed conversion ratio of birds fed 063: nowroozak. The mortality rate followed the same trend of feed conversion ratio. Weight gain was found to be increased by inclusion of nowroozak, but was not statistically significant. It was conducted that added 063: of nowroozak had beneficial effect on broilerperformance.
