Although attitude seems a little thing, it makes a big difference. Maybe it seems trifle matter, however, it is one of thefundamental issues in determining the success of students. Attitude is related to a person’s values and beliefs and promotesor discourages the choices made in both academic and informal life (Gardner, 1985). The purpose of the current studywas to investigate the effect of learners gender and field of study on their attitudes. An adopted questionnaire wasemployed as a measuring instrument. The study was conducted among 33 students of Allameh Tabatabai University. Theresult showed that there was not any significant difference between female and male in terms of behavioral, cognitive,and emotional aspects of attitude. Additionally, there was not a significant difference between tourism management andhotel and hospitality students in terms of behavioral and cognitive aspects of attitude; however, there was not anysignificant difference in terms of emotional aspect. The pedagogical implications of the results are discussed at the end.
