Abstract:
reaction between Lanthanide ions (Gd3+and Yb3+)with human serum albumin was investigated at PH=7 using isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC).The extended solvation theory was used to reproduce the enthalpies of this reactions over the whole range of Gd3+and Yb3+concentrations.The solvation parameters obtained wasattributed to the structural change and anti-oxidant property of HSA.The strong negative cooperativity of Lanthanide ions with HSA recovered from the extended solvation theory, indicates that HSA denatures as a result of its interaction with Lanthanide ions.
