Building Information Modelling Application in Risk Management Process

AEC1 industry faces a lot of issues and problems which result in time extension, increasing cost or lower quality. Risk management is one of the remedies for these issues and one of the main knowledge areas in project management. it can remove the barriers and make some chances to meet project objectives. There are some issues prevented risk management success in projects or not gaining adequate results from it.Implementing BIM in construction may provide project team with benefits result from a lot of BIM related uses. These uses are helpful in whole project management fields like cost, time and risk management so they can help identifying risks and responding to them much easier and more efficiently. in this article general risk management process will be reviewed then some methods about using BIM in risk management process will be discussed. Finally, these frameworks will be used to proposed BIM uses related to risk management stages.
