The paper explores an alterative perspective of knowledge management and puts forward a strategic knowledge management paradigm based on epistemological thinking and processes. With the aid of knowledge elasticity function and value proposition the paper argues that the current KM applications are insufficient for delivering competitive advantage. In conclusion the paper puts forward a visionary research agenda for further exploration of epistemology based KM solutions.
