The historic routes of the Lut desert and its surrounding areas

The existence of Lut desert is one of the important geographic features of eastern Iran, which has been very difficult to pass through in the past. But this desert has been used because of reducing distances and connecting Kerman with Khorasan and Sistan and other places outside the Iranian plateau. This research seeks to identify the most important ways that passes through the Lut desert by collecting data in library method and processing and compiling data in historical method. Since these traces and works left out of the few remaining traces of human beings in this wilderness, their identification can lead to the identification of historical tourist trails in the Lut desert. These pathways in this research are:1.Khorasan-Kerman Way, 2. Kerman-Balochistan Way 3. Bam-Sistan-Kandahar-India Road
