A Review on BIM in housing in Iran

This research examined the potential for energy saving in low-cost housingthrough the lens of implementation and construction details. This is while,that along with building specifications there are some features, which arerelated to residents’ building usage such as their preferences for being indifferent parts of a building, which should be taken into consideration.Although buildings information modeling (BIM), has been used already forenergy saving in low-cost housing, the role of space configuration (as aneffective factor on energy consumption), has not been studied yet at the sametime. In this review paper, BIM trend is studied in low-cost housing.
