No one had any complaints of neuralgia after surgery. Only 3 (4.9%) patients complained of postoperative hand palm sweating. Horner s syndrome was observed in only three patients (4.9%) which resolved after 3 months. Conclusion: Thoracoscopic sympathectomy is a safe and effective method for treating hyperhidrosis in the palm of the hand, with very few complications and high success rates.
