Abstract:

In this paper, ( G / G  )-expansion method with the aid of Maple is applied in order to solve the problem of Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) Jeffery–Hamel nanofluid flow in non-parallel walls. The base fluid is water containing copper as nanoparticle. The effective thermal conductivity and viscosity of nanofluid are calculated by the Maxwell–Garnetts (MG) and Brinkman models, respectively. It is shown that the proposed method provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear wave equations in mathematical physics and engineering problems. The results show that velocity boundary layer thickness decrease with increase of Hartmann number increases.
