خلاصه مقاله:
In the last few decades, more and more wind power has been added to electricity generation systems all the world. The power output of a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) depends on the wind speed, and varies randomly with time. However due to the variable and relative unpredictable nature of wind power, it has had and will have serious impacts on power system reliability. In this paper analytical method is used for comparison with simulation methods (i.e. sequential and non-sequential Monte Carlo simulations). An Auto Regressive Moving Average (ARMA) time series model is used to simulate hourly wind speed. In order to analyze and illustrate impact of key variable on power system reliability and wind power capacity credit, the IEEE Reliability Test System (IEEE-RTS) is used in this study.
