خلاصه مقاله:
In the present study, the effect of pre-strain on the interfacial behaviour of shape memory alloy (SMA) reinforced polymer composites is experimentally investigated. Experimental pull-out tests were performed at three different pre-strain level (0, 2 and 4%). Results showed applying the pre-strain in the SMA wire followed by a thermal activation enhanced the debonding load between the SMA wire and epoxy matrix so that the maximum debond load increased about 171% and 255% for pre-strains of 2% and 4%, respectively. Moreover, the optical microscopy was used to show the effect of the generated recovery force in the SMA/Polymer dibond initiation.
