خلاصه مقاله:
In the present study, free vibration analysis of functionally graded (FG) pipes that convey fluid is studied. Functionally graded distribution of material properties is supposed where they through the radius according to the power law function. Also, Euler-Bernoulli beam theory is utilized for modeling the thin beam displacement field. Using Hamilton’s principle, obtained equations of motion are solved generalized differential quadrature method (GDQM). Finally the effect of dimensions, material properties and boundary conditions on the natural frequency is investigated in detail. It is concluded that, there is not much difference between the fundamental frequency of clamped pipe and a cantilever pipe. Also, natural frequencies decrease as the index of FGM increases.
