A review on the various methods of bio-printing

Loss or defect in the tissues and organs of the body is a phenomenon associated with the high cost of treatment that millions suffer from it every year. The donation of tissue or organs and its transplantation from the healthy body to the patient body is the most commonly used treatment method which is not efficient alone due to the increasing the numbers of applicants for receiving tissue and organ in comparison to donators. Bio-printing technology of tissues and organs is based on design and participation of the three main parts of the bio-printer, bio-ink and bio-paper which as a novel method in tissue engineering has high ability to make tissues and organs. This article reviews the various methods of bio-printing and their application in medicine, as well as the limitations and challenges ahead.
