Abstract:

IntroductionToday microfluidics is undoubtedly the most effective technology in the medical or pharmaceutical fields and biological studies, it has been able to provide experiments conditions in the least time and at low cost with high repeatability. Microfluidics according to its characteristics, is a very attractive option for the pharmaceutical industry, the pharmaceutical sciences have problems, including the timing of the production process, the testing of the drug on animals and its generalization to humans and high cost Also recently of advances in the medical field it has been determined that a specific drug has a different effect on each individual, and also the dosages of each drug for disease is different.ObjectivesThe aim of this study is to investigate the microfluidic characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry and study challenges the opportunities ahead of this knowledge in the field of drug delivery and we are discussing comparing this knowledge with conventional drug delivery methods.MethodsCollecting information by searching keywords for microfluidics, pharmacy, drug deliverysystems in a valid database and also experience in these fields .ResultsMicrofluidic knowledge has many applications in pharmacology and medicine, such as determine the precise dosage of the drug with multi-dose simultaneous testing, drug carriers and delivering the ideal drug to the target-precise, controllable drug release, minor side effects, high-throughput screening (the high screening capability) and initial tests for high drug production and sustainability.ConclusionMicrofluidics has a high potential in the field of medical sciences, pharmaceuticals including drug delivery Compared with conventional methods. Andalso requires further studies to resolve Challenges are in the field of pharmacy
