Management of Technology;Assessing Quality of Project by System Dynamics Approach

Successful project management enables organizations to find ways to improve productivity and to shorten the time to market with products of higher quality and lower cost. Although it is inadvisable for the project manager to be given overall responsibility for quality control he will, nevertheless, be responsible for quality performance. Treating management of project as process flow, the quality of project is modeled by the system dynamics approach. In this paper, the system dynamics model consists of two sub-models, namely mental model and simulation model. One major benefit of using this approach is its capability of representing and handling both hard and soft variables of the performance and quality in managing a project.
